Nicola-Clare Lydon a short biography

Born in St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex Nicola began painting and sculpting twenty five years ago. She studied at Bretton Hall and the University of Leeds attaining both her Bachelors and Masters degrees by 2001 where she had the opportunity of studying within the grounds of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the use of the facilities at the Henry Moore Institute.

Nicola's work spans a diverse range of traditional formats and multi media concepts that take many physical forms. She is an incessant recorder of all stages of her work and does vast amounts of video and photographic work to capture the aura of the me

moratic concepts that inspire her.

By 2004 she opened Lydon Fine Art. This allowed her to experiment further and to be able to put her classical training to good use, taking on traditional commissions, the majority of which being equine and human portraiture.

With clients worldwide, Lydon Fine Art continues to expand conceptually through the diversity of the commissioned work Nicola receives. This ranges from traditional oil painting and large scale drawings onward; all of which take place in her private studio in Cornwall at Another Green World gallery in Tintagel.
